Today, boys and girls, I am going to be talking about peace… Love peace… Peace and love is important… for developing wondrous things of humanity… We must love all creatures, people, things, and from love, sprouts a beautiful flower… The flower of dreams… Dreams which lead our human race to the stars… To expand, and spread this feeling…

I onced asked a good, smart and very knowledgable friend of mine what she thought of God. She said “God is a positive energy.” … How true, simple and true. No matter what race or religion you are, we all feel something, this something within us, is God my friends!!! God is life… God is beautiful… God is a state of mind, and much more!!! I guess you can say God is the universe and the glue that holds everything together! God is a feeling… God is Love…

This feeling is to be cherished and held… Not all times you will feel ‘Godlike’… or ‘Godly’… Infact, sometimes we feel miserable and down… I guess it might be the ebb and flow of life… But, one thing is for sure, if you focus on a feeling, it will expand… That’s all I have for today boys and girls, please do reflect a bit on what I’ve said… With love… -Me

Recently I have been fascinated by the ancient art of Shisha smoking. It all began when me and a bunch of friends chanced upon this really cool Shisha place in Arab St, Singapore called Nadin’s. It’s decorated in fabulous persian drapes and carpets. Cushions are spewned all over the place and you make yourself comfortable with these instead of chairs. The lighting is dim and the music is enchanting.

I’ve never really tried Arabic food before but it’s really nice. I had this lamb dish with couscous and my friend tried this fruity drink called the Bin Laben. Most of the menu items sound like names of terrorists so I’m sure they must taste like the bomb.

As for the Shisha, I tried the cappucino flavour which according to the mild mannered waiter, was ‘very nice smelling’. True that. There’s just something deeply decadent about chilling back and smoking the pipe even though it does’nt really get you high. Watching thick clouds of smoke emerge from your mouth is just entrancing for some strange reason. I can’t put a finger on it but I am quite intrigued. I will be going again soon for sure. Shisha anyone?

In one of my earlier posts, I mentioned that I was going to talk about alpha brainwaves. Alpha what? What the hell are these and why are they important? Basically your mind operates on different levels of consciousness. These levels of consciousness are dependant on many factors, like time of day, what you ate, what drugs you took, whether you woke up in bed today and found Jessica Alba snuggling up in bed next to you, etc. Basically anything and everything affects your brainwaves.

The science community has broken down these ‘waves’ into a few major groups. Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta. Most people live their daily lives in the beta brainwave state. This is when you brain is most awake and you are more or less in full consciousness and aware of your surroundings. Alpha waves occur when you are in dreamstate, semi-dreamstate, day-dreaming, or upon awakening from sleep, or falling into sleep. Theta waves occur during deep sleep. Delta waves occur during super deep sleep. Zeta waves occur when you are dead. LOL.

So how can we make use of these states to improve our lives? I wrote an article in my previous blog entry about visualization. Some people have trouble visualizing. For these groups of people, I recommend doing visualization exercises in the alpha brain wave states. An easy way to do visualization exercises are just as you are about to fall asleep, or just upon awakening. Your mind will be tuned to the alpha frequency naturally without much trying.

A benefit of doing visualization in alpha states is that, the brain is more open to suggestion. Mind programming can be easier in these states and the effects more long-lasting and effective. How do I know all these? I don’t know. I read. I study. I research. I experiment. I am the oracle.

Another easy way to make use of alpha states is to do affirmations during these states of mind. You will find that your mind is more suggestable to the effects and carry on these affirmations to actuality in beta states.

For those of you hard headed beta caffeine-amphetamine-loaded junkies who remain in beta all their lives and have trouble falling asleep and going to alpha, you might want to try bio-feedback mechanisms such as flasher.exe or bi-aural beats to trigger alpha brain wave states. Flasher is a simple pc program which flashes your monitor screen like a strobe light and syncs your brain to the speed of which they strobe. You can even control the frequency of the flashes to determine exactly how ‘deep’ you want to go. Bi-aural beats are also another feedback mechanism, in the form of modulating sounds, which trigger different states in the brain. ‘Brainwave Generator’ is a good tool which allows you to access different states of mental prowress. There are even settings like ‘The Awakened Mind’, etc in this program, which trigger beta waves. Check them out, they are pretty interesting.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have discovered the mostest bestest coffee drink ever invented by mankind. STARBUCKS DOUBLE (2 extra espresso shots added) DARK MOCHA FRAPPUCINO WITH WHIPPED CREAM. It’s made with the finest arabica beans and dosed with a healthy (unhealthy?) amount of dark chocolate, which is guaranteed to boost your theobromine levels in your brain to a radiantly euphoric level. The added double shot of espresso will solve your morning brain fog like none other. It’s almost worth the ridiculous $9 price. The taste is also something to behold, rich, creamy, sweet, complex, refined, extravagant and deep flavours drip down your throat like honey and permeate your mind with  effervescent liveliness.  Try it today! Thank me later!

So this weekend I tried limiting all caffeine intake again. Partially successful. For the first day, I did not drink any coffee, it was awesome. I had some milo though, which probably contained minute amounts of caffeine. By the end of the day, I had the signature splitting headache. I was’nt sure whether or not to classify this as a headache or a migraine, since the pain was bordering on unbearable. No wait, it was actually unbearable, so I raided the medicine cabinet and found me some paracetamol+ophenadrine tabs. Wee. I seriously tried to ride the pain out for at least a few hours, until at one point it was simply unbearable. But I actually think the pain might be a good thing. Why? When your body is aching and shit and your brain is throbbing and all, the natural response is to provide pain relief to it. How? By massaging and shit, resting, stretching, yoga postures, drinking more water, etc. The pain is a natural feedback mechanism to healing. Well anyway I am glad that I managed to stave off caffeine over the weekend. On monday morning when I wokeup, I noticed that my skin was infact somewhat clearer and more radiant. Could’nt resist a cup this morning though. The battle rages on…

Today I want to talk about sleep cycles. I was at a TCM (traditional chinese medicine) doctor yesterday with one of my friends, who went to get some acupuncture done for migraines. The TCM doctor parted some useful information to us. Apparently, the body produces some kind of hormones during 11pm-2am which aid the body in recovery and health. So according to her, it’s very important to be asleep during those hours. Well THAT explains my chronic fatique syndrome.

I discovered that on days that I sleep early and wake up early, I feel more rested and energized than say when I sleep late and wake up late. This is despite having slept the same number of hours.

The body goes through a lot of processes to rejuvenate you during sleep, and it’s not only the number of hours you sleep, it’s also about which hours of the day you sleep. Sleeping during a period where the body produces rejuvenating hormones can be beneficial. So remember guys and girls, sleep before 11pm!

The above statement has been my ‘motto’ and credo ever since I read those words. I chanced upon these wise words while researching ‘creative visualization’, a technique, which unleases the power of the mind’s ability to influence the real world.

Visualization is an important tool and technique in mastering the alchemical powers that reside within the deep and complex abysses of our mind. Us humans, as the most evolved species on this planet, possess a unique ability to translate thought into physical reality. We are born with the power of will, which is a driving force, almost magical, that makes things happen. Coupled with belief and acceptance, which are strong de-limiters on what we can or cannot do, new worlds of possibility open up as we open up our minds and thinking styles. Can ‘Magic’ actually exist? Yes. ‘Magic’ is essentially provoking the mind into triggering a quantum leap in thought, which allows the meta-physical translation of a thought, into something physically tangible.

There are many adaptations and different ways of telling/describing/interpreting this ’secret of manifestation’, I believe it all boils down to the same fundamental process. When a person believes something can happen, and has the power to will it into existence, it can happen. Many religions ‘pray’, and prayer, I believe is a form of this transition of energy from one form to another. Science has theorized and proven that a quantum world exists. We do not know everything to know about this amazing quantum world yet, but from what I have read, it is nothing short of amazing and miraculous. In quantum physics, we discover that we are all but particles of energy, yet held together by an unseen force. Some religious people call this force ‘God’. Unseen, inexplicable, un-explainable. Whoever said God was mysterious aint lyin’. No shit. I believe further studies into the science of the quantum nature will reveal more of this fascinating world that is right before our eyes, but do not yet have the understanding of. I believe that the truth of this world, when our eyes have opened up to it, will be comparable to that of (and most likely infinitely exponentiated) the time when our species discovered that the world is actually indeed round, and not flat, as we have believed for centuries.

We do not fully understand this ‘force’ that has been documented throughout ages in religion, culture, movies and such, but we do possess an innate ability to trigger and use this power in times of need. But there is actually a way to trigger this at will.

VIsualization is a key tool in the conscious will-ful harnessing and execution of this force. When I say visualization, I actually mean visualization on all levels of the mind and senses. All five (or six or seven) senses if possible. Picture a scenario that you want to trigger in real life, and imagine it on all senses possible. Visual, Touch, Taste, Smell, Feeling, Hearing, Sex. Imagine exactly how that scenario would be as you desire, and project yourself to that environment. The key is to make it seem real to yourself by using the power of imagination to create an inner reality. The more real this reality is to you and the more will, passion and energy you pour into it, the more the universe conspires to manifest this situation. VISUALIZE!!! and Imagine. Humans are the ONLY creatures on earth capable of imagination. Think about it. We have a unique gift.

In (one of) my next post(s) I will be talking about peak alpha brainwave states and how this aids the visualization ability and show you how to trigger and make peak use of this ‘alternate’ state of mind to effectively mould reality to your liking. Stay tuned.

As I sit here at my computer, I recall some inspired words of truth (?) from an old friend of mine who once theorized that the strength by that of which one pisses (whizzes, jeezes, sprays) is directly proportionate to his/her level of libido. The stronger your piss, the higher your libido is.

Now before continuing further, let me state formally that I am an excellent pisser. Full of strength and force. On occasion, when inspired, I am able to douse small fires and kill the occasional rodent with my lethal jet spray of death. I once saved a baby from a fire by pissing an exit path from within a raging inferno of a house set alight by cruel teenage pranksters.

Ego and accomplishments aside, let’s go back to my friend’s theory on pissage. From a scientific standpoint, this hypothesis holds some truth. Let’s take a look at the anatomy of the human body, specifically, the kegel muscle. This is the same muscle that plays a role in both orgasm and fire-dousing. If you’re good in bed, you’re pretty much assured a place in the fire department should you ever decide to become a firefighter. Unless you’re a girl of course, and lack the useful navigation hose feature.

So how does one put this theory to the test? I hung out in my office’s male lavatory for a while and observed piss levels. People with high and audible piss volumes seemed to be happy, virile and gratified. Weak pissers seemed sex-starved and unhappy. I recommend kegel exercises and high grade japanese av for these people.

So judging from my apparent high libido and exuberant male vitality, I hereby conclude that my friend’s piss hypothesis is true and valid.

Caffeine with a capital C. Is it good? Is it evil? Is it bad for your body or is it a panacea and elixir of life?

I’ve been drinking coffee for years. I started while cramming for my Os. I even ate coffee powder back then, looking back, that was some mad shit. I aced my exams however, which was the ultimate goal.

I guess like with anything else, moderation is the key. Too much of anything is not a good thing anyway. However, I am addicted.

I tried stopping caffeine over the weekend. By day 2, I promptly went back to it. Sluggish, tired, unmotivated, cloudy, that’s how I felt on day 1 of my no-caffeine-plan. I also felt pain. Tremendous pain in the form of pounding thunderous headaches which sent jolts of crippling agony with each pulse of my heart. Ok that’s exagerrating a bit but it was still pretty darn agonizing.

I have a theory about caffeine headaches. They are the result of toxins built up in the body accumulated through caffeine use. My hypothesis is that caffeine halts the natural detox process in the body. It triggers the body’s emergency flight or fight response, prepping it up for an ‘ultimate state of mind’, relieving pain, postponing sleep and rest, etc. This accumulates a kind of body ‘debt’ which expresses itself in the form of fatigue and toxin accumulation. Of course, repeated caffeine use halts the user from feeling these symptoms. It is only when they stop caffeine, are they alerted to the true state of their body.

Obama. Fuckin hell yeah. I’m pretty damn glad that Obama won the presidential election campaign. Hillary would probably do a decent job but I think Obama is the wiser. I am going to be keeping an eye out for this guy.

I am going off right now to have a toast to this guy.
